Our Little Trooper

If you’re a parent, you understand how heartbreaking it is when you see your child hurting and not be able to take that pain away. We had to take Evangeline to the hospital this morning for a procedure to observe her kidney function, and she was such a little trooper. She’s such a petite girl, and looked even tinier on the big hospital bed – but the doctors and nurses were surprized at how strong she was:)

After the needle part was over we went to the gift shop, and she picked out a stuffed “Grover” which is her new favorite thing. They tell us we should have the results in a week or so, so I’m counting down the days. Thank you to everyone for the thoughts and prayers – we are truly blessed to have such wonderful friends and family in our lives.
