Photo-A-Day Project: {Day 233}

Well it was inevitable really…once one person gets sick in the house, it usually makes its rounds. Autumn wasn’t feeling so hot earlier in the week, and now its Evangeline and Bill’s turn. Hopefully everyone is feeling 100% by Sunday morning when we head to the airport!

Photo-A-Day Project: {Day 232}

This morning I was so excited to go on your preschool field trip with you. We got on the big yellow bus, and headed to the Western Development Museum. After looking thru the museum, the school arranged for us to go on a wagon ride to the barns. Here we got to see ponies, a new foal that was born, rabbits, chickens, sheep, goats and ducks. What were you so excited about? The horses.:)

This is a picture of you and one of the ponies, Chester. You didn’t hesitate for a moment to go over and pet him. That’s my girl!

Photo-A-Day Project: {Day 231}

My girl, you are determined to blow a bubble with your bubble gum. You sat there this afternoon and tried time and again to figure it out, but to no avail. Keep practicing, you’ll get it one of these days:)

Photo-A-Day Project: {Day 230}

Tub night is always a favorite in our house…tonight I came up over the stairs and these little faces were what I saw peeking over the tub.

XO

{Mother’s Song}

My heart is like a fountain true
That flows and flows with love to you.
As chirps the lark unto the tree
…So chirps my pretty babe to me.

There’s not a rose where’er I seek,
As comely as my baby’s cheek.
There’s not a comb of honey-bee,
So full of sweets as babe to me.

There’s not a star that shines on high,
Is brighter than my baby’s eye.
There’s not a boat upon the sea,
Can dance as baby does to me.

No silk was ever spun so fine
As is the hair of baby mine.
My baby smells more sweet to me
Than smells in spring the elder tree.

Ten thousand parks where deer do run,
Ten thousand roses in the sun,
Ten thousand pearls beneath the sea,
My babe more precious is to me.
